SAM - Safety Alert Messenger follows police, fire, and EMS communication in Austin and the surrounding area. The app listens and transcribes radio communications.
You can create an Alert using keywords. Whenever a communication occurs that contains those keywords, such as 'Accident MoPac' or 'Shots fired,' an Event is triggered, and you receive a push notification. This notification includes a transcription of the actual communication, as well as a link to the recording, allowing you to listen to what was said.
Additionally, you can browse all monitored channels and read or listen to previous communications. Stay informed about real-time events, beyond what the news reports.
